Barbara "Bobbi" L. Kenney, 53, formerly of Tinton Falls, passed peacefully Saturday, May 2, 2009, after a strong fight against liver and pancreatic cancer. Bobbi was born in Jersey City and grew up in Tinton Falls. She was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and St. Vincent's Nursing School in Manhattan. She was a practicing nurse anesthetist in South Florida throughout her life. Bobbi lived the life most dreamed about, taking time for travel and adventure.Bobbi was the wife of Jerry Gibalski of South Florida and predeceased by her father and mother, Jerry and Irene Kenney. Bobbi is survived by her brother and sister-in law, Kevin and Carol Kenney of Tinton Falls; and her niece and nephew, Rachael and Justin Kenney of Tinton Falls.A memorial and celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 23 at the family's farm in Vero Beach, Fla.
